Which devices and browsers can I use?+
Retaiva, Point of Sale included, runs in current versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari and Mozilla Firefox on Windows and Mac computers and on tablets, with nothing to install and every update delivered automatically. Sales can also be rung up in the Retaiva POS app on Android phones and tablets.
How do I print receipts, labels and documents?+
Receipts print on a receipt printer set up in Settings → Printers. Receipts, labels and business documents open as PDFs and print through your browser to any printer installed on your device. Use Print Test in Settings → Printers before your first sale to confirm the paper size and layout. Receipts can also be emailed to customers.
Can I use a barcode scanner?+
Scanners that type into the active field, which is how most USB and Bluetooth scanners work, can be used to search for products at the point of sale.
Do I need an internet connection?+
Yes. Retaiva saves every sale, stock movement and record securely as it happens, so the web app requires an internet connection. The Android POS app needs to connect regularly to synchronize its records.
